Maroon & Gold Bantam League

With Edina winning the Minnesota Championship & Duluth East winning the VFW Championship it seems the M&G League was quite a success this year. I guess I'm wondering why more programs don't try to do something similar? I know that league is already full but it seems to me it could only be beneficial if other programs tried to work together the way those teams do. Thoughts?
