Don't you think listing the team name might be a good idea?roundhead wrote:Due to a late season injury, we are now looking for an 01 Invite Level Goalie. Schedule is available and more information available upon request. 3-4 Tournaments, with a HOME Tournament. Practice is only the weekend before Tournaments and the Coach for this team is an NAHL Coach. Cost is about half of other programs, and is within 30 minutes of Mpls./St.Paul Metro. PM if interested in more information.

It's so elite that the team can't be named. For if you heard it, your mind would explode with its awesomeness and prestige.HockeyDad41 wrote:Don't you think listing the team name might be a good idea?roundhead wrote:Due to a late season injury, we are now looking for an 01 Invite Level Goalie. 01 Wolfpack goalie must've gotten the call from the NHL affiliate.Chandler23 wrote:It's so elite that the team can't be named. Why all the posts?

To save all the Trolls the effort... My latest reply to a serious inquiry.
Sounds like some common ground... The remaining goalie for the 01 team was chosen for the 01 FIRE last Summer before they folded. He played at the 00 Invite level last Summer. He was going to be backed up by an 02 (Very Tall and advanced Goalie for the age) this Summer, but (***Edited for Medical Privacy) and will not be playing this Summer. We would have just run with the one Goalie, but he's an Insulin Diabetic (He's my Son so I can comment) and sometime's he just can't go. As long as the skill set's are similar, there will be a 50/50 split on playing time. Of course, using this message board has it's disadvantages and advantages (Obviously) and there's some Medical privacy concerns that we try to honor, so the information was limited to legitimate inquiries... The team is based out of Shattuck St.-Mary's and the schedule is listed on the website. The Coach for this team is Jamie Huffman from the Austin Bruins of the NAHL. Our Director of Coaching is Pat Cullen from St. Olaf. All of our Coaches are NCAA, USHL, NAHL, or Junior's, no Parents. My 98's Coach is Politoski from Shattuck. The only older AAA group in Minnesota is the Blades. We are a NON-Profit group. The Summer cost is $750. IF the teams individually vote to add a 4th Tournament, it's another $175. We ONLY practice the weekend before our Tournaments and encourage kids to participate in other Summer events, train on their own, and just be a kid. Later in our programs, 13-14 yrs. old +, we help to direct them toward the path that makes the best sense for them. Something that is NOT even on the radar for most other AAA groups, who are normally disbanding teams by that age. If this sounds like something your interested in, get me the pertinent information on your son and I will review it. If it looks like a good match, I will get you a tryout during our Training Camp March 31st-April 1st. No cost involved. Call me if you have questions.
