BSM the sentimental favorite?
As a public school kid I grew up hating private schools, but come next Thursday I will be rooting for BSM to win it all no question. They are playing inspired hockey for JJ,and I for one would love nothing more then to see Jack out on the ice surrounded by his boys for the team photo late next Saturday night.

I agree, except the Private school shot. But, I think the big sheet of ice was BSM reason they won. They are able to out skate the teams they play. On the smaller sheet they cannot get up and go, so they will have a harder time.Oldtimehockeyguy23 wrote:While I support Jack, there is still no way I can root for BSM, or any private school for that manner.

Spot on there, Zamman. Really enjoyed watching them last night on the big sheet, will be interesting to see them at the X next week on a normal size sheet. If they can come out flying like they did last night they are going to be very tough to beat come next weekend.Zamman wrote:I agree, except the Private school shot. Also, very cool to see Jack out on the ice celebrating the section title with his team, awesome moment when they had him go and accept the trophy.

BSM the sentimental favorite?????
While everyone in their right mind is behind JJ, don't confuse that support with BSM as a program.
By far KP has the least class of any HS coach I've seen. Unfortunately it rubs off on some kids and has been displayed many times this year (watch the videos).
JJ returning to the arena brings the class, inspiration, and influence that KP never could.

Agreed Northwoods... loco!
Predictable reply from "bsmscout". Has nothing to offer outside of BSM topics.
Proud to say I'm not a follower, parent, player, resident, student, or fan of either program. My background is respect the game, players, coaches, and officals. Love all the fans that come along with it.
That motto doesn't fit BSM hockey.

I guess u didn't see the game last night? If u saw the game than your Motto was played out perfectly. What about Benilde hockey do you have a problem with? KP out coached Tonka, the team took two minor penalties, played the game with speed and skill, played great as a unit and not only are their players good at hockey but most important they are great students in the classroom.
