Time for a change in Grand Rapids

Post by 218ers »

I know this post is going to generate a lot of talk but it had to be done… There is absolutely no excuse for GR to have lost in the first round of playoffs with the talent they have. Under the guidance of the current coaching staff there are major problems. To start, I’ve seen peewee B teams with a better power play system. Jake Bishoff (Their most skilled player) is planted in front of the net on the PP… What a joke.

What is amazing is that GR (aka the Talent factory) has an amazing group of hockey minds in the community that would love this coaching position. It would be one thing if the current coaching staff was willing to listen and take advice from other people, but they are completely unwilling… hence the departure of Trent Klatt. Please Please Please… get a good young hockey coach in there while there is still some talent remaining.
