Post by YouthHockeyHub »

We are writing a series on Minnesota Youth Hockey and how it has evolved over the last 50+ years. Here is a link to the 1970-1980 era. Lots of interesting facts and some funny commentary on equipment, etc.

So did I until I started typing the article...it just him me with all of the crap we use to wear compared to today.

One thing I will never forget is the full length pant cooperalls....I may mock each and every team that donned them in the '80s. Maybe not, that may cause a revolt against our site...haha.

The 80's had some great innovation equipment-wise...I will note next week (especially for goalies).
