I heard a coach being interviewed, one of his statements raised a question that I have wanted to ask for years, but didn't know who to ask. Here is the statement.
"Our kids are working hard & there STILL TRYING TO FIGURE OUT OUR SYSTEM”
My son played for this team a few years back and from what I understand, the JV team and Varsity team are two separate entities to the point where they don't even practice the same systems.
Being the naive person that I am, I would think that you would want to practice everything the same so that the JV kids can jump in if needed or they will know the system for next year?
I was wondering if there were any other teams that operate this way? and if so, what is the reasoning behind this thought process?
