Half of tonight’s games are now posted as final:
Minnetonka 1, Edina 1
In a big Lake Conference showdown, the Skippers and Hornets skated to a 1-1 tie. Minnetonka’s Sydney Rossman stopped 32 of 33 shots and Edina’s Maddie Dahl 30 of 31 to keep the other team's offense in check.
In our contest everyone except capitalpride predicted Minnetonka would prevail in this one. Capitalpride accurately forecasted a tie (2-2 score) to gain a point on the field.
Irondale 4, Chisago Lakes 2
Sam Donovan’s two goals paced the Knights to a 4-2 win over the Wildcats. Donovan, just a sophomore, now has 37 goals and 18 assists on the season.
14 of 15 thought Irondale would win, and woogieboogiewoogie got the score right to pick up the bonus.
Anoka 2, Blaine 1
Blair Parent scored both Anoka goals to lead the Tornadoes over the Bengals. Shots on goal were just about even at 27-26.
12 of 15 had Anoka winning this one. Hockeyfan87 was the only one to predict the 2-1 score in what turned out to be a very close game.

All four goals in this one came in the 3rd period. Eden Prairie dominated the shot clock in regulation 49-23, but Blaine turned the tables in the overtime when they outshot the Eagles 14-2.
Mounds View 2, Roseville 5
Lexi Slattery scored what proved to be the game winner at 9:51 of the first period, and added another one at 4:42 of the second for the Raiders. For the game the SOG were pretty even at 31-28 Roseville.
Thief River Falls 1, East Grand Forks 2
Erica Eades scored both goals and goalie Madi Galstad stopped 30 of 31 shots to lead the Green Wave in their upset over the Prowlers.
With the Blaine/EP tie and EGF's upset win over TRF it was a tough night for most of our group: most got just a single point out of the three games. The exception was hockeyfan87, who correctly forecasted the 5-2 score in the Roseville/Mounds View game.

Annabeth Smith scored the winning goal and goalie Chloe Crosby stopped 40 of 41 Breck shots to lead the Cougars over the Mustangs.
Another big upset, at least according to our group, who by a 14-1 margin had Breck winning! The lone exception was D16Dad who also happened to predict the score and in the process gained two on the rest of the field.
Nobody is exactly burning it up this week. Going into tommorrow’s final three games, here is our leaderboard:
