The same 3 associations have the top B teams and top A teams. Are there lots of 1st year kids on the B teams from Rosemount, Woobury and Farmington? heard their A teams are mostly if all 2nd years?

Surprised ... Edina teams are not the top seed. Isn't its A team not the top seed either. A down year for Edina?

New p, Has no A team, so Edina is the top "B" team.

Looking at both Green's and White's website both Edina teams split games with NP during regular season. I'm going to look for those 3 teams moving on to Regions...only thing left is who gets what seed.

Farmington B actually has 6 first years. Both their B2 teams are also strong (Top 15) with 10 first years on one team and 5 or 6 on the other. Farmington is very deep at the 6th, 7th, 8th grade level, but drops off considerbly in 5th grade. Probably should have had two B1 teams.

Minnesota B1 PeeWee Districts
District 1 - "not sure"
District 2 - East Regional
District 3 - West Regional
District 4 - South Regional
District 5 - West Regional
District 6 - West Regional
District 8 - South Regional
District 9 - South Regional
District 10 - East Regional
District 11 - East Regional
District 12 - North Regional
District 15 - North Regional
District 16 - North Regional

Comments:

West is going to be by far the toughest region to come out of as 1 & 2 seeds for state. Should make it nice for other teams who make it to state as some of the top teams will be eliminated.

D1 is now entirely recreational hockey and is home to some C level teams only. The traveling associations moved to District 3, 2 and 8.

St Cloud Red and STMA will play for the number 1 and 2 seed from district 5 next Saturday. Consolation bracket winner will be the number 3 seed going to West regional - most likely will be St. Cloud Black coming out as the 3 seed but 3 other teams will have something to say about that.

D6 starts tonight. Chaska made it out of the wild card round. The brackets consist of Edina White, Edina Green, Burnsville, Chaska, Prior Lake and New Prague.

I like both Edina teams and Prior Lake
