Rematch - Wayzata vs Moorhead Sat 1/15 @ PIC
Who is going to win the rematch ?
I am going with Wayzata 5 to 2 and the Trojans will make amends from their SLP tourney defeat in Dec.

Agreed. Way to much talent here to let the Spuds steal another one. I like the 5-2 score as well but am gonna predict a 2-1 shot advantage for the Trojans.GOPHERFAN119 wrote:Who is going to win the rematch ?

Spuds Vs. Trojans
Not sure If you could call this a re-match......with 4 spuds serving 2 week (five game) suspensions. Three of them defenseman and their top forward. I dont think any team could overcome those odds against a top ten team. I hope this Spud team learns from this punnishment and finds a way to play as a team. Im guessing with wins over Tech and TRF that perhaps having the Cancers off of the ice and out of the lockeroom have had a positive influence...... We will find out with games against Wayzata, Roseau, Warroad, Brainerd, Cennt., BSM, Bemidji, and Hill on the schedule.

I was at the game and the moorhead goalie stood on his head wayzata outshot them 51 to 14. Moorhead showed no class after the game not shaking hands due to the rough play by both sides and after the game there was a scrum. Wayzata lined up and moorhead skated off the ice. Terrible coaching also moorhead coaches didnt even shake the hands of the wayzata coaches.

HMMM.....the way I heard it was it was a bench clearing brawl....and it was Wayzata that started it and showed no class. Of course I wasnt at the game. But this is the second time Wayzata has been beat by the Spuds in the Cities, and a game myself included thought they had no chance at winning. Congrats SPUDS!
Perhaps Wayzata became upset at this fact and lost composure? IDK? Im sure someone at the game will fill us in?

Reiterating what Potatohead said, can we get someone that has more than one post who went to this game and could give some insight...Potatohead9 wrote:HMMM.....the way I heard it was it was a bench clearing brawl....and it was Wayzata that started it and showed no class. i was there moorhead was under wayzatas skin the whole game, scrums after every stoppage. i think lucia just lost it at the end and his frustration got the better of him a few guys jumped off the bench from both sides and i was a shoving match maybe 1-2 punnches thrownnikebauer05 wrote:Reiterating what Potatohead said, can we get someone that has more than one post who went to this game and could give some insight...Potatohead9 wrote:HMMM.....the way I heard it was it was a bench clearing brawl....and it was Wayzata that started it and showed no class.
