Champlin Park defeats Blaine 3-1

Post by jBlaze3000 »

Anyone see this game? What happened? I see that Blaine was outshot as well. Are the Rebels better than we think or is Blaine worse?

Not surprised at all. Blaine isn't as good of a team this year and can be beaten any night by a decent squad.

Blaine looked awful, Champlin dominated the first and third period with Blaine having a pretty good 2nd period. Champlin is a decent team but not great, but they are scrappy and work hard. Blaine's D also had a rough time breaking out the puck, hats off to the rebels!

But Blaine tied Edina (Lost in OT), beat Stillwater who beat Tonka. Talk about inconsistent.

Blaines D looked pretty rough. Against a team like Champlin you need to move the puck where as Blaines top line got pretty selfish trying to do it by individual and not playing as a team. Without Bjugstad this team is not as good as they are hyped up to be
