Brainerd played well, good defense, and good offense. NO goals for Brainerd. Moorhead slipped on in on a fluke shot from the point, so they held the lead at the end of the 1st period.

2nd period the Warriors gave up a turnover right away and the Spuds put it away to go up 2-0, than Archibald put one in the net on power play to make it a 2-1 game, Moorhead came back and beat our defense to score again making it 3-1. Brainerd;s Mason Fussy got on the board as he broke in unassisted and buried one, period ended at a 3-2 game.
