WBL vs Cretin
White bear lake 4 Cretin 1 after first
Re: WBL vs Cretin
WBL 7 CDH 1
Can you say choke CDH??? After the embarrassing loss to Woodbury, and now this, Cretin is in a major slide and should disappear from most lists of top teams. As much as it pains me to say this, WBL may be the SEC power this season.

I had to leave SLP after 2 with MHS and BSM tied at 2. Both teams had very good chances with a slight nod to BSM, I thought both goalies looked better than I thought they would with a slight nod to Glockner, neither team's PP looked good at all, and BSM was extremely chippy throughout, with numerous hits after the whistle, plenty of jawing and some really dumb penatlies. MHS went up by 2 early in the 2nd before BSM reduced it to one and really took over the momentum. They had a few power plays in the period, including two 5 on 3's, and the 2nd ended with one remaining. Haven't heard anything since.
I found it interesting that Marty Nanne, Lou Nanne and Tino Littieri all set separately. I know Marty has a son on the BSM JV and Tino a son on the MHS varsity, but still it was a bit weird.
