New Coaches for Holy Family

Post by HeShootsHeScores »

Just saw this post on Facebook from Velocity
so it must be true

"New hockey coaches at Holy Family High School are Noel Rahn and Ken Eddy."

My crystal ball says Velocity will be using some Victoria ice in the future. I heard a rumor about a high school program giving free ice to a coach for his clinics and training as part of the pay package. Any insight?

I have said in the past that Holy Family is positioned to win a state title (A or AA) with in 3-4 years after they get the right coach and I think this is about to happen.

HF is geographically located in a hockey hot bed with loads of talent to draw from. Just look at the players from the area whom are already attending other private schools and one wonders “what if” (with the right coach)

G-Oncay/Orono-Blake
G-Burke/Chaska-AHA

D-Bullock/EP-Blake
D-Fleming/Waconia-STA
D-Regan/Waconia-STA
D-Reilly/Chaska-AHA
D-Doerring/Chaska-Blake

F-Reilly/Chaska-AHA
F-Reilly/Chaska-AHA
F-Trina/Chaska-Breck
F-Faust/Mtka-Blake
F-Commers/Edina-STA

I’m sure I’ve missed a few, but these where the guys that just came to mind.

It is a private school. There is no geography for private schools so your list of players means nothing. Now if you are talking about the public school that these players are listed from, okay. But a private school, sorry.

Most kids aren't going to drive from Duluth to go to HF. most kids that are going to go to the school are going to live within a half hour of the school. the area where they are likely to draw kids from is a hockey hotbed.
