PP said Jason (St. Thomas 2005-06) was drafted by Vancouver. FYI

He signed with Vancouver. Will not be returning to Minnesota for '10-'11.

He better eat his WHEATIES if he thinks he can play with the big boys.

From what I saw he had his hands full at nursery school.

Johnson (#1 pick overall) did not look ready in his Freshman season. At Gopher games you would think, what did the Blues' scouts see in him.

Okposo and Wheeler never looked NHL ready while at Minnesota.

Look at them now baby!!!

That said, I agree that Schroeder will have a bigger hill to climb because of his size.

Erik Johnson had 24 points in 41 as a freshman and was plus eight. He was also 6'4" and could skate. That seems pretty ready to me.

vs. Schroeder who finished minus seven, worst on the team.

He was also the No. 1 overall pick, obviously a lot of smart hockey people in the NHL thought he was ready also. I thought he looked great in the Olympics.
