Cloquet Bantan A

My thoughts of this team is they get the award for the most inconsistent team of the year. They can and do beat the best teams in the state, but they also have lost or nearly lost to some pretty mediocre teams. I Have watched this team throughout the year and there is Zero team chemistry...that is why they are up and down. The best thing this team can do is look at where their team comes from...and embrace the true Lumberjacks

Classless - coaches and players! Team is down 5-3, late in the game against Woodbury in State and Michaud boys ran #9 from Woodbury of faceoff, bull rushed him, then speared #9 in the groin. #20 Defensemen came all the way in from blue line to hit defensemen high. #6 crosschecked Woodbury defensemen behind the net, broke his stick. Coaches were unapolegitic after the game, but doesn't surprise me since Michaud is the coach. The apple doesn't fall far from the tree.

Refs should have kicked one or two of the kids out of the next game for their action. Just classless from a team that gave all they could against Woodbury and fell short. Not the way to teach kids about sports, handling losses as well as you handle wins!!

Direct reflection on the coaches! They need to be responsible for their players and obviously they are sore losers, try to hurt some of Woodbury's best players!!

at least the cloquet parents, fans and players showed a little more class then waving at the kids on the ice.....seriously, grow up people! Cloquet showed class throughout the whole game and deserve the recognition for that... Great job Cloquet! You should be proud of your performance today!

Also, whoever this comment is from, you obviously know coach Michaud in a personal way and should never bash a fellow coach in the way you did. "Apple far from the tree"?? Classless if you ask me!!!

I thought what Cloquet did at the end of the Woodbury game was totally classless and I don't have a kid playing on either team. You CANNOT defend what they did and I put their coaches in the same category

First of all....everyone at the game knows exactly who you are Mr. Classy. You obviously didn't see what happened to start that tangle up, and there is no excuse for a a second player from the other team to jump into something he had no business to jump into. That is why they had 2 penalties out of it and Cloquet only had one. There were parents from both teams that agreed the ref made the right call.
You, who didn't have a kid on either team were the only one making any noise about it.....

1wildfan?? What game were you at??

Cloquet had a kid, #6 kicked out of the next game for crosschecking a Woodbury defensemen in the back after the end of the game and #11 also received a penalty for Cloquet, but didn't get kicked out of the next game! Woodbury didn't get any penalties for they only received the cowardly acts!

Enough is enough with Cloquets post! Any non-bias person would agree that what happened was bad judgment by the players and coaches of Cloquet. Cloquet has a very good team, played a very good game and disrespected the game at the end! Very tough to lose the 1st game of the State Tournament, not the way to handle it!!

Cloquet high school hockey has some good kids moving up and it would be fun to see them do well in high school and make a run in their Section and State in a few years!! Will be tough to get by East, Elk River, etc.

WOW! you just think the northerteams are not classy it seems to me that norhtern teams that "arent classy" in your point of view you rag on them but when southern city teams do the same thing why do you not say the same thing about them?? :?: :!:

I could care less about south or north, east or west. I obviously did not see the incidents you are talking about. I only watched a couple of games but if it happened in other games it was wrong too. So don't make this a outstate vs. everyone else thing because it has nothing to do with where a team is from.
