Some very good teams are out.....Especially from the East Region.

Great Season Burnsville, Rochester......

Looks to be an exciting tournament.

The top bracket is tough with Wayzata, and Edina.

Will there be any upsets?

Anyone know when the banquet will be held?

I'm very disapointed to not see EGF there also.

Hat's off to Elk River and Andover for beating them when it counted.

After seeing the scores from many of the teams.

I have to believe it is going to be hard to beat Edina this year.

This is really too bad as that is one of the highlights for the <b>KIDS</b> that are lucky enough to participate in the State tourney. Not sure what drove this decision, as each team gets stuck paying a good chunk of money to play in State, and one would hope that the banquet would be a part of that fee. Seems sad that Minnesota Hockey has chosen to take away that tradition.

Supertacks...I have heard the same thing. No banquet. Word on the street is they cancelled it a few years ago. Not sure why.

That's a bummer...they would always bring in a big name keynote speaker for the kids to listen to and interact with. It's all part of the expereience and now that's gone.

Edina will be the team to beat this year in my opinion. Watching them play at Dakotah this weekend was very impressive. They have loads of speed and creativity. No - I am not from there and don't really even like them all that much - but they are so fun to watch when you are not the one playing them.

About the banquet - this is so unfortunate and I cannot imagine the reasoning. The 2 things my son talked about when they earned their spot was #1) The sweatshirt, of course and #2) The banquet. Kids!

It will be the ELKS!!!

Just look at the brackets, they have a clear path to the final. Who ever they play will be dead tired just like in the state high school tournament.
