Is it just me or is Blake one of the most overrated teames in class A. They have 17 wins over below average teams. Before beating Providence Acad. in the play-offs, the beat them in OT and tied them. They also lost to St. Paul Johnson. Based on that, I can't see them beating Delano. I will go with: Delano 4 Blake 2. Either way, Breck will beat the winner of this game by more than 4 goals.

Delano was missing their starting goalie and was also the first game of the season.
Every team has a bad game or two during the year. Just like your Blake Bears lost to Johnson...

Slapshot...
Not saying the Wright Conference is tough by any standards, but are you really going to talk up the Tri-Metro. I would never say a conference is tough that includes teams like the St. Paul Saints, Minnehaha Academy, Como Park, St. Paul Academy...Not even sure I would go as far as saying Johnson and Providence are anything to brag about. At least Cathedral, Orono, Mound, and Delano are all respectable. Even Litchfield opened some eyes this year and Holy Family was decent last season.
Not sure the Tri Metro is a powerhouse conference slapshot...

The Wright County is the most under rated conference this year. The WCC is much stronger top to bottom than the Tri-Metro!! With Delano's goalie playing as well as any goalie in the state right now i am saying this one is close. Blake doesn't have a ton of fire power up front but is a deeper team. Regardless Breck is going to coast into the X.. IMHO Breck is one the best teams in the state.. AA or A!! Would love to see Delano come out of this section because i am not a fan of private schools in the class A system!!
