My take was this was a great game. Both teams played really well. Edina was sticking it to them in the third and that is why they won.

AHA hit the pipe and the knob of the goalie stick in the third when it was still 2-2. I spoke with a couple of people last night who said this was the section final to them. For me it was one of the best games they played all year.
I felt the boys played the best they could and have no reason to hang their heads. I also think that Edina should be pretty happy because they squeaked this one out.

AHA loses a lot of scoring from the first line, some solid D and the goalies. But, the second line has two juniors who really played well lat in the year and the next goalie is big.

Now I get to sit back and watch without any need to worry or panic, just enjoy the game. I will be at the state tournament, but not the section finals.

Thanks for the report Z.

As, always a class act gives a good recap and always sticks by his team.

Until next year, enjoy the off-season!
