There are many Bantam A hockey players in the state of minnesota but alot of districts around Twin Cities have studs that stick out.

Below are the studs of Minnesota Youth Bantam A Hockey:

2.Nelson-Edina
3.Vinni Letteri
4.Jason Baiter
5.Erik Rutt
6.Sean Lang
7.#20 defensman for Burnsville.
8.#17 foward for Burnsville.
9.Christian Smith
10.Nanne
11.Sam Sullivan
12.Anothny Walsh
13.CJ Smith

standouts

Post by rudy »

Is this in order? Anyway, seems like too many D6 guys, even though that district is very tough. Consider:

Gueuntzel, Woodbury
Moore, Duluth East
Bischoff, Grand Rapids

Need to add Witaala from Lakeville South And Wood from Lakeville North. In fact, I'd rank Wood in the top 5 or 6 for sure. Very fast, big physical player, forward/d. Will be very interesting to see how he does at the next level.

I'd also throw in Theilmann from EP, Luchene from Edina, Baeder from Tonka, a couple kids from OMG, a couple from Duluth East, and a couple from Gran Rapids. Have seen all these teams play but can't remember specific names/numbers.........any help out there??!

Will Guentzel follow the path of his brothers to Hill-Murray?

No D3 Kids? Really.....I know of a few Maple Grove and Wayzata players that would crack your Top 5.

Most of them are Second Year Bantams on the 95 Blades.....You are thinking of 96's. Look at the 95 NAHL Future Prospects team. Minus the few players on Shattuck, that may be your Advanced 15 Final Team.

Aren't Shattuck players invited to Advanced 15's tryouts? Or are they still in season?

They are invited, although some choose to go home to their state for tryouts.

I respect the fact that some of you have a lot of "team" spirit by stating that your own team or your kids team has the best 95's in the state and this will be the "adv. 15" team- thats funny!

There are kids from Duluth, Rapids, East grand forks, Roseau, cloquet and other non cities towns that cant make the commitment to the these teams or tournaments.

Time will tell

Most 95's are in 9th grade. I would look at the 95's who are in 8th grade that are making a impact on there Bantam teams. These are the kids to watch the next couple years. They have to play summer hockey with older kids and in school they are a year behind..

Doesn't FHIT put together the USHL scouting list? 95's come out this year, correct?

I agree! There are a couple teams moving to Dist. 6 next year and one of them is loaded with talented first year 95' bantams and could make some noise if they don't decimate the team by sending kids up to HS!!!

You could pretty much copy-n-paste the 95' Blades roster to the ADV 15 final roster...there may be a few players that could possibly be close to that caliber, but not many....Considering they have consistantly beaten all top Tier 1 Teams from around the country for some time, its hard to see many cracking that lineup...

You're assuming that all the players on that Blades roster choose to purse the Adv 15 route. Some may not for a myriad of reasons. Also, when you're dealing with group tryouts, anything can happen. True, the cream USUALLY rises to the top, but there will always be surprises.
