WBL vs Roseville section 4AA

Post by wbhockey02 »

I figured we may as well get things rollin, I'm gonna go with my Bears of course winning 6-2. I know they looked terrible in the last game but they always kick it up a notch come sections.

What's the Bear's record in State Tourney Quarterfinal games? I'll hang up and listen.

And Roseville won't? I think this one will be a lot closer then everyone thinks. Roseville played well towards the ended of the year. I'll take Roseville in OT

You got it. I'll take Mariner over the Roseville Center in this one 5-2.

Gee, that'll be fun reading all the "off with his head!" cries is WBL loses.

Bears by three.

Really!? White Bear's JV team beat them earlier this year, and the Bears just played one of their worst games of the year and still beat them. Pick the Bears in this one with confidence.

WBL will be looking past Roseville a bit but will rally and win. Too bad for Roseville some of those seniors deserved a better year. The Debace(sp?) kid is a good hockey player.

Sorry off topic slightly but WBL fans what happened to the that center from last year? I think a first liner. Maybe Swenson or Swanson. Tall kid six feet plus. I realize I clearly don't assess talent like many HS coaches but I thought he had what it took to go to the next level.

And if would be the operative word???

Roseville may be young, but my hunch is they haven't forgotten the 2OT loss to the Ponies during the Qtr-Final gm last yr, and they want another crack at SW. Raiders take this one in OT, 4-3.

I believe you are talking about Sam Swanson, but I haven't heard anything of him playing at the next level.
