Overrated Jefferson @ Overrated Eagan 2-4-10

Post by schwang17 »

just a hint of sarcasm there as this has been an ongoing topic since their last matchup.

Can anyone remember the last time Eagan swept the Jags?

I cannot stress the importance of this game enough - especially to shut up those damned Eagan faithful. :D

Jags - 3
Eagan - 2

in a thriller...

Schwanger....... boy, did I get a nice chuckle outta this poll!!!

I am willing to bet this may very well be the most exciting game of the year for both teams!! :P

I will go Jefferson 3 - 1 with EN.....

Then, hours after the game, I will edit my score for the right outcome, ala the Burnsville vs Eagan..

First honest and true topic yet, concerning these two teams.

I am going with a "kiss your sister" tie. 1-1

Goldyfishydudy,
I'm willing to bet if Eagan plays like they did against EP this just may be the most exciting game of the year for at least one team. But, if they play like they did the last two games, it just may be the most exciting game of the year for another team looking for revenge!!

let's hope it's the latter. :D

Also, big shoutout to me for finally figuring out how to do a poll with options.

No more yelling for Lee to come to the rescue.

My prediction:

0-0 Tie

Shots- Eagan 7 Jags 7

It will play out to be the most unsatisfying and boring game in history.
The puck just kinda drifts around the neutral zone, and players fall over like it's a mites game...
Always celly hard.

I have two mite players and they don't fall over all the time. A little but not all the time....

I have no idea who will win, but as soon as the puck drops you can count on the fans for both teams chanting:

O - ver - RAY - ted !

I'm going to pick the overrated team. The other team is just way too overrated.

Oh, wait. I'm the one who does the rating. #-o

I would like to make a shout out to my homie, Teak, as I miss your humor. Hopefully, he will make his presence felt with his opinions...

And by the way.... schwanger, your quip about WBL ranks up there as a "Line of the Year" finalist.

I do what I can.

I remember a time where views would get up to the 40k range on some threads. Threads like, "From Constantinople to St. Paul", "Up for Grabs", "Public vs. Private", "Yes: It Can Happen" etc. etc.

Seems to be a thing of the past, though - which is unfortunate.

I still go back and reminisce the archives every once in a while for a good chuckle.
