I believe in the bears.

WB 4 EN
Hastings 2

They just need the same goaltending they had last saturday in Roseville. Schletty was on his game. Other than that, I feel they play better without the older guys anyway...

With the way Hastings has been playing lately, I wouldn't doubt it. But I think this is the kind of game hastings needs to get refocused and back on track. Hastings in a close one 4-3.

WB 3
hastings 2

even with most of the v squad out the bears will still come away victorious, just not by as much as they would with all of their studs.

Carney will get his first goal of his high school career.

When do the 10 come back? Will they still be out for Forest Lake? They go 2-2 it is survivible, 1-3 will hurt.

Supposedly, they are back for the game against East Ridge on January 28th.

I think this game couldn't have come at a better time for Hastings. Regardless of who is in the lineup or not for WBL, a win tonight will move the confindence level up a notch for the Hastings squad.

Hastings has proved they can come out of the gate fast with some of the better teams. If they can put that together for 3 periods, stop playing so selfish, and the goaltending steps it up they can pull out a win.

I'll take Hastings 4-3 in ot.

Raiders stink

Hastings is a awful hockey team!! they won't win 2 more games all year. When does the town get tired of losing? Are "A" Bantam team could come up there and beat that Varsity team. Time for Welch to go. Big time!!!!!

We are tired of losing, at least i am. But the problem persists, and it aint going away. The A.D here has no spine. Theres no way he's going to fire one of the good old boy's. No way-no how! Job performance doesn't apply down here. We let you stay as long as you want, as long as you grew up here.
Every year its the same story. This could have been a rebound year. Suburban East is a weak conference.
We always regress by the end of the year. That's coaching for sure! I would just love to see again once before i die this program actually get better by seasons end instead of vise versa. This team does have some very talented younger players, but the brass here just can't ever figure out quite how to get the best out of what theve got, because i'm afraid that would actually involve....Being involved, and that takes a certain amount of passion for the job you do. And thats too much work.
