The rivalry begins tonight at 7:30 in front of what will be a packed house. What do you guys got for score predictions?

I think you're being kind, especially if Mader can't play. Easton H will be out a while it sounds like if he has a broken collar bone.

Hopefully the brothers Herbert and Hyland can mend their fences after the game :)

4-3 East Ridge, they looked pretty good against St. Francis, despite the loss.

They hit hard, and Woodbury might be underestimating them.

The end result will probably be closer than most are assuming.

Thanks for proving my point, arrogance and underestimation won't get you far in the State of Hockey.

Woodbury wins 5-1 but score was 0-0 until almost the end of the second period. Woodbury played well and the East Ridge boys just ran out of gas.

I look forward to next year for the Raptors, hopefully they'll be able to skate with these teams for the full game. The same story seemed to happen at St. Francis, they had the lead but as the game reached the 3rd they just couldn't hold on.

For the majority of the game, he stood on his head. He's come a long, long way.

neither will overestimation buddy...how could you honestly think a seniorless team that lost to St. Francis could beat an AP top 15 team?

well, woodbury's won the battle but not the war. East Ridge will be the better HS program for the next few years at least. It's already been discussed on other threads. Maybe they'll get so good they beat WBL a couple times after this year. You won't like them so much when that happens.

Well, I probably wouldn't be devastated. Since you can tell from my other posts I'm rooting for this young school. Also, I never overestimated anybody I guessed at a one goal margin.

Just go out to Bielenberg Arena on a Saturday or Sunday during the Squirts, PeeWees or Bantams games and look at the number of kids in hockey.

It's a mathematical certainty that ER will be a powerhouse in the future. They have the entire Stonemill Farms development area and the center of that development is an outdoor, refrigerated rink.

The future is bright for East Ridge Hockey.
