Forgot to add the rest...... Sorry readers!
Hey Everyone!
With another successfull season under our belt and a great trip the 2009 National Jr A tier III tournament and 3rd place finish, the Lumberjacks would like to invite any interested players, looking to forward their hockey careers, to our first prospect camp.
We posted a great record, last seson of 48-9-1, after the Nationals.
This next season promises to be filled with just as much success!
Our Prospects camp is May 1st -3rd in St. Cloud at the MAC.
We have spots to fill and are looking forward to having a good first camp. Check out our website for registration, camp details, times and future camps.
Thanks and good luck to you and your hockey futures.

I just saw an article in the St. Cloud paper that the new coach for the Lumberjacks is Brad Willner. Brad was the coach for the Alexandria NAHL team for the past several years, and was an assistant for SCSU before that. Although I have no affiliation with the team, league or junior hockey in general, I would say that this is an opportunity to play for a coach who can really help your career. I would highly recommend checking this group out if you might need some help getting to the next level for some reason.
The MN league just got a real shot-in-the-arm with this announcement.
Good luck to you all!

Maybe next year he'll coach JV at Apollo!
Just kidding, Willy is a good coach, I would assume he wanted to be with his wife now that she is expecting. Good for the Lumberjacks, not so good for Brad.
How long before he gets sick of the 'higher ups' and wants out?
I was once told hockey coaching is just like life, growing or dying, no third direction. Like I said I love the move for the MJHL and the Jacks but really, really bad move for Brad.

Well, let's throw a "hypothetical" out there... And I know you're thinking it.. What if this team was looking to.. now this is a maybe.. go NAHL? What if Alex's team moved operations down to St. Cloud? Of if St. Cloud expanded into a new NAHL franchise?crash wrote:Look kids...a falling star!

Ok, no more yelling.. just thinking out loud here. I realize that the fan base would have to probably double, or more for that to happen. But I will tell you that the owner(s) of this team are nothing if not big thinkers. I would assume that this is on their minds, and having Brad on board could make that even more of an option.
And sometimes a person just has to make adjustments to their lives for personal reasons and being home isn't a bad one to make.
I'm hoping the best for Brad and the team.
