Who won the D6 squirt "B" Championship game tonigh

Post by Judgeandjury »

Waconia versus Waconia. Boy do I feel sorry for Waconia hockey next year they're finally going to have "A" teams.

I heard D6 is going to have squirt B1 teams next year. Which makes a bad situation worse for Waconia.

Each association had to go through this one time or another good luck to the WHA.

Waconia would be a great addition to D5.

JudgeandJury... That is an interesting topic.... I know Waconia has planned on having an "A" team in 2009 since the season started. But I also believe the district in requiring them to field an "A" team because of the success of the 2 equal "B" teams and a C team.. Being they only have 3 Squirt teams, and need to field a A,B,and C, like Shakopee, Kennedy, Jefferson, and Apple Valley; Should all district teams be required to field an "A" team for every 3 Squirt teams??..... That would mean Edina would have 3, Chaska, Eastview, Eden Prairie, Minnetonka, Prior Lake, Burnsville would have 2.... Or Should the smaller association be able to have the option to field 2 equal B1 teams, rather than an "A"team, (assuming D goes with Squirt B1, B2), and a C team... Would either plan make the competition better or worse in district play???

Any thoughts??

Funny, the both Waconia teams were smoked by several Wayzata B teams, but no one is forcing Wayzata to go with multiple A.
