Bantam B-Who came out of regions?

Post by proudref »

I was at the West regions. Some great teams there.

A HUGE UPSET. SAUK RAPIDS LOST TO ELK RIVER. Elk River dominated too.

So, out of the West Region taking North Seeds(don't ask me why north) I don't know why Elk River is first seed either because W. Blue beat them 5-2. It's just how the tourneys are set up.

North #1-Elk River
North #2-Wayzata Blue

I wouldnt say Elk River dominated.

It was a tough battle fought by two very good teams that went into overtime.

I think the shots were close on both sides.

Both teams are 2-2 against each other for the season.

North #1 - Duluth Lakers
North #2 - Duluth East

The post a couple above this must mean West #1 and #2.

I would agree with this assessment. In fact towards the end it looked like Sauk Rapids was the stronger team. You just can't take penalties, because teams will capitalize. Sauk Rapids took two in ot and the second one cost them.
