I'm surprised to see 2 Thunder Bay teams entered. I suppose they might still be OK in the open division but don't know much about the kids below the 99 level

I am familiar with most of the AAA teams but have not come across Team CCM. My understanding is they are also fielding a 95 team "CCM Capitals". Does anybody know where they are out of? I've never seen any tryout information posted for this squad.

Team CCM is part of Showcase and the Alliance. They are new this year. I think there may be some connection to The Monopoly program and they are part of the Alliance as well along with Easton teams, Cyclones and Machine (MM).

I heard that Team CCM teams are kids out of the same community or surrounding community so they are trying to have a CCM North, South, East and West.

That is true, CCM hockey is sponsoring the Monopoly program. They have a invite and open team at either 2 or 3 levels, not sure but I believe '99 and '00 they have both.
