Worst Record in a state tournament

Post by dasboot »

What is the worst team (record wise) that made it to the tourney?

And how did they do?

That one's too easy, if you include the Tier II tourney

rosemount only won a couple of games in '93, but placed second in the Tier II tourney

If you don't use the Tier II format, last year's Litchfield team would be a possiblity in Class A.

I believe it was 1992 and their record was 4-20-1 but they finished second to Greenway 6-1.

Bad day in high school hockey.[II tier format] Still wish there was one class, don't get me wrong, AA - A hockey still plenty to get excited about, lets face it the final 8 in each class could compete with each other most of the time.Don't know about you ? But ya gotta love old time hockey!
