'96, ’97 and ’98 Rockets – The Rockets are a Developmental Team for the Minnesota Icemen for players that want a more flexibility to with their Spring and Fall schedules but want a program that emphasizes development over number games played. The Rockets will practice 55 hours over the months of late March, April, May and August and participate in three tournaments. The Rockets will roster Tournament Players and Practice Players and the anticipated cost to participate is $975 and $650 respectively. The primary practice facility is the Maple Grove Community Center.

A combined 97 and 98 Rockets Tryout is scheduled for 3:15 to 4:30pm on December 26th at Minnetonka Ice Arena. The Tryout Fee is $20. The 96 Tryout is not schedule at this time.
’99 and ’00 Minnesota Icemen – Grant Potulny, formerly of the Minnesota Gophers and currently playing in AHL has agreed to coach the ’99 team. As first year teams, the practice time will be limited to 60 -65 hours with three tournaments. The season will go from March, April, May and August with June and July off to enjoy other activities or an opportunity to participate in other hockey camps. The anticipated cost is $1100 for a Tournament Player and $850 for a Practice Player. Primary practice facility is the Maple Grove Community Center.

U10 and U12 Ice Cougars – New to the Minnesota Icemen Hockey Club are two new girl’s teams. Similar to the boy’s teams, the Ice Cougars primary focus is on Player Development. Schedule involves 60 hours of development plus three tournaments. Schedule runs parallel to the boy’s which is mid-March, April, May and August. The U12 Ice Cougars will only roster Tournament Players while the U10 Ice Cougars will roster Tournament and Practice Players. The anticipated cost of a Tournament Player is $975 and $650 for a Practice Player. Primary practice facility is Maple Grove Community Center.

The costs can vary either Minnesota Icemen Hockey Club team based upon Coaches discretion – Minnesota Icemen Hockey Club is a non-profit corporation so final team fees will be based upon actual expenses. A down payment is required to hold a players roster position and monthly payments will be throughout the season.
