I don't like my local association

Post by hiptzech »

This post is dedicated to those that need a place to vent about their local associations. Please review the rules of the board before posting...

I appreciate the effort, but it won't work. Garbage will continue to spill over into other topics. How else can it be?

I see two solutions:

1. Start a new Forum dedicated to non-association Youth Hockey.

2. Ban those creating the problem here (they don't know I'm talking about them, of course; it's always the "other guy", right?) for actions we deem disruptive to the Board.

Perhaps a topic could be solutions - we all know there are people who don't like their associations - so lets help find some ideas to help!

1. get a divorce! This way your ex-spouse can move outside your school district and your kid can play for that association. I'm sure that association does a much better job than the one you are in! - just trying to help... 8)

This topic is incredible...Here is a couple pointers to help you...I choose the #2 option myself.

1. Quit

2. Move

3. Suck it up

Bash,
I am very thankful to know I will get to go out and watch some of the kids play this winter. A lot of kids in fact. Grand Rapids will field 3 bantam teams and I do believe possible 4 pee wee teams that is great news in this economy! As well from the sound of it other programs still have a lot of kids playing....that is indeed great news and something we should all be thankful exists.

I mean honestly there will never be a perfect association. But regardless of how crappy the board is, if the kids get to play and have fun then isn't the board doing its job?

A wise man once said sports were meant for kids... grown-ups only screw it up.

OK best response I've seen in awhile - "Vote them off the island"
The divorce idea is also pretty funny!!
Those will crack me up the rest of the day.
I'm so easily amused.
Seriously, everyone on this board does serve a purpose, even if it is just for our immature amusement.
