Kirby to Russell-Stover

John Kirby of Austin, has made the move yesterday to Kansas to play with Russell-Stover stars on the midget major team. Congrats to him from a former team mate, and hopefully it all plays itself out for his future.

John will be missed on the ice by all who have played with him and has definately left a huge hole in our defense but things are looking good for him in KC.

Does Austin have a coaching staff in place yet?

Good luck to the young man from Austin, going to Russell Stover. He is going into a great program, plus he will receive wonderful coaching. It will be tough for a few days, especially being away from family and friends, but he will be kept busy. All host families, are well screened and KC is a pretty nice town. I am just guessing, but next year at this time you'll say it was the best move you could have made!! I know from family experience.

he is a senior this year, i heard that owatonna told him to leave austin and play for Stover so he could develop more
