Maple Grove never really threatened the Cougars in the last game they played, and Pitlick didn't play. I don't know why this one would be any different.
Centennial: 5
MG: 1

Both well coached teams will step up to the task but Aus just has more tallent to work with, therefore Centenial will take it 4-2 with an ENG

Come on Crimson!
I'm going with,
Maple Grove - 4 OT
Centennial - 3
Then gets smoked by Blaine in section championship, Bengals make it a 3-peat!

Chiefs - 6
Crimson - 2
They are back! Centennial-Blaine final should be fun to see if it happens! Wish I could be there.
Kudos to the Maple Grove program. Great strides in just 10 years!!!

This was the game I was most anxious for last Sunday when the 5AA rankings came out. MG pulled off the first win early, then Centennial came back and whomped MG. The catch is that MG was missing three very solid players. The bigger catch is that Pitlick was at the NDTP. With all players back this time around it should be a good one. The thing is that both Hanna and Strand are better than Frakes. And Pitlick, Lovick, and Hess tool most d-men they face.

With the game being at the Coliseum, ANYTHING could happen. Shallow corners = fast play. All the Centennial big guns were there the first time MG beat them. It's when Pitlick is gone that Grove has problems. I say, leave him at home !!!
