Best Mites

Post by O-townClown »

I keep a mental list of the best I've seen in Florida, only because it is so easy!

I know two real strong 1999 kids, an excellent 2000 that has an attitude problem, and two very good 2001s - one with an insufferable father.

I completely agree with you squirts has absolutely nothing to do with how you will do when you grow up. But on a more serious note does anyone know who that number 4 on slp 1st year mini mites orange is?

all I can say, now that mine are HS and beyond, is that looking back at the videos (now transfered to DVDs) great moments are re-lived where the most common phrase is "oh my word- look how cute" (wife) and I'm taking shots at my kid going, "boy did you peak early" or "that is when we thought you had potential". :D

Fun stuff - make sure your getting it on video for future enjoyment and not for the scouts.

In response to O town clown - I love these guys that refer to kids by birth year. "He's only a 98?" or "He's got a great birthday - early Jan 99"

Same guys that spent $12,000 to watch their 4 year old cry at every camp possible and justify it by saying "its only $4.00/ hr of ice

Let them have fun!!!

yeah, who knew january birthdays were such a big deal. I thought it was just a natural break caused by the gap between ice fishing and the opener??

Good point DMOM - I've seen GOOD players with BAD birthdays get bumped for BAD players with GOOD birthdays.

It is also amazing how many parents will take a kid that absolutely loves the game and put their kid in things they know the kid won't like but justify because "its good for his development".

Instead of saying its good for his development why don't they say "my kid hates it, but all the other kids are doing it and its good for my ego"

Let them have fun!
