Quarters, semis & championship at Little Ralph in Thief River Falls
Quarters
2/21 Thursday - 6 pm and 8:15 pm
#1 Warroad vs. winner Crookston/Red Lake Falls
#4 Thief River Falls vs. #5 Bemidji

2/22 Wednesday same times
#2 Park Rapids vs. winner LOW/Bagley

2/23 Saturday 7pm

A (Crookston) Pirate walks into a bar and the bartender notices that he has a big ship's steering wheel in the front of his pants. The bartender asks "what's with the steering wheel?", to which the (Crookston) pirate replies "ARRRGGH! It's drivin' me nuts!"

If I agreed that PR should be @ #2, then I would have become a member of Peanut Gallery.
To me PR has exposed themselves as being less of a team than I had originally thought.
And yes, I know more about other teams than most caoches do, because my job is not to focus on one team as they have to do.

I hope PR does well.
I will cheer as hard for them as anyone else if they make it to the X.
I think PR will lose to EGF in the semis by 3 goals.
Warroad over Bemidji by the same score in the semis.

You say PR exposed themselves as being less of a team than you had thought. But you picked against them in every big game they had, let alone games they should win easily, so obviously you never thought much of them to begin with.

I had a response typed in and lost...

But have to leave...
mother had a heart attack
and just got a phone call from my best friend...
he just found out he has cancer..
so I am driving north.

All of this negative talk about Park's chances in the section from the naysayers smacks of a little bit of genuine concern. I think this was the same type of things that were being said about thier baseball team last spring and you know what happened then. Good Luck PR and all teams

Thats a big statement from a little guy.....a team is a team..even if there is a standout...like Warroad would have MAYBE won 4 games if there wasnt a Ravndalen.....lets be realistic....Lehrke does have good lines to work with..they just need to kick it in gear
