98 Snipers and Grinders

Does anyone know if MM was able to roster a 98 born Snipers and Grinders teams?...in other words, have they found enough kids to participate?

I don't know how the '98 machine is doing, however, the one kid from our association on that team has at least 10-15 '98s that are better players (they are all playing squirt hockey and he is a mite). They need to improve the 98 machine before they get the snipers and grinders going.

gilmour wrote:adding the two new teams is all about the $...without making the $ the Machine and Deuce will go bye-bye...hopefully he can make it work to keep things going for the people that want to be part of his program...but there is no way he can have the same expectations for the talent level on the Snipers and Grinders than Machine and Deuce which is going to seem very contradictory from what we have heard in the past about his teams.?

Yesterday you were on here bashing MM and the 2 new teams with , "Its all about the $$ theme". Today, you start a post wondering if there are any spots open at the 98 level? Rather than posting to a chat forum, why dont you just call Minnesota Made and ask them if there any spots open for your boy!

It is one of the larger Twin Cities ones. Kids are doing Blades, Iceman, Showcase AAA, Easton, Velocity 3v3 and RBK instead. They are playing on teams with their friends for the most part. They are also playing other sports and the mandatory attendence has turned some away.

course they will have a 99 team I am amazed you had not heard they are
to call themselves The Silver Dragons and they are really going to bring on the heat. If you do not get out of the woods in time you may get burnt
so pack your bags and maybe you could even be the COACH.. :^o

Good call BoardMemeber but you missed - the "bashing" you referred to was my opinion of the situation - last time I checked that is what this forum is all about.

The reason for my question is that I recently heard that they haven't filled out the squad. In regards to "your boy" wanting to get a spot on either of the teams wasn't the intent of my question nor an interest of his but my questions is relative to a different matter.

So, since you seem to know so much are the 98 teams filled or not? - simple question.

Gilmore,

If you want the facts, call MM,I'm sure they will tell you whats going on...

If you want gossip ask the folks on here! I have heard, but do not know for fact, that all the new teams are just about full. They have about 5 spots open across 11 teams

Tryouts were over MEA in October. If there are spots left, it’s only by those that are on the fence about doing it. Payments have already been sent in and they are non refundable I'm sure. So those on the fence would have to forfeit what they already paid if they decide not to do it.
