Nothing PC about a GR fan. You're either an Indian or you're not. My favorite was when my kid was an A Bantam playing Burnsville at the NHC in St. Cloud. The big board started out saying Blaze vs T-Hawks but was changed before the 1st had ended to Braves vs Indians. Classic.

This should be a tight game. Still giving the edge to GR. If they can match their intensity level to what they showed against Hermantown in the 2nd, the Indians will walk away with a W. Have to control their emotions as this has become a big rivalry game. Breaking through against them in the sections last season will hopefully give the returning guys a spark, and hopefully to the new players as well. I don't think East matches up well with the speed of the GR forwards and the edge in goal has to go to Rapids. I saw Cooper quite a bit this fall and feel he's quite beatable. The wild card in this game is which team can control the game physically while keeping their emotions in check. Need to stay out of the box to win this one.

A few years ago at the DECC a Rapids player punched an East kid with the game tied 2-2, there was a penalty, East scored on the PP to win 3-2.

My point exactly. Play the physical part of the game within the boundaries and they'll be just fine. GR has some guys who can bring it when they want, as I'm sure East does. Whoever controls it will put themselves a notch closer to top seed.
