FSN game at Memorial Jan 9

Post by yasoguy »

Looking forward to seeing this game broadcast from Memorial. Just not sure where any of the cameras will be placed. I imagine they will have a camera a center ice (in the stands), but not sure that will be a good angle. Tight spaces. Anyone out there have info on this one? :?:

Lapanta will figure it out!

I've actually wondered the same thing. They decided to do the game there, so FSN must have something up their sleeves. I'm looking forward to watching that one in my recliner instead of making the trek to Memorial on the 9th.

I'll take the Rams 6-1 by the way.

Where would that be....aren't the only places directly behind the Memorial are the old folks home or the little gray house with the big backyard across the street from big barn at the fairgrounds. If it's the little gray house PM me.

Isn't the old pressbox still there up above the door to the locker rooms?

If it's not there, I could only guess above the Zamboni room.

I don't think it is an old folks' home anymore. I think the building is for sale.

He either lives in Sunburst or in Morens Law Offices

I know the attendance has been lower than the glory years, but having a camera in the crowd at center ice will take up valuable room. After watching the Buffalo game a week or so ago, I hope the folks in Roseau are ready to spoil the FSN crew when they come to town. The Buffalo hockey assoc. (I think that was the group) pulled out all the stops meals and hospitality. Maybe that happens every stop???

I don't think hospitality will be a problem in Roseau.

any time you have these two northern teams playing it will be great, and I am not talking about the game. The people, accomidating and generally nice, I have been to games in both these rinks, everyone says hello, and has a nice greating, it will be tight quarters but they will make due. Fans second to none, won't hold up any newspapers or boo! everyone, just there to see good hockey game, don't want to wish away time but can' wait.

As much as I'd like to see this one in person a Wednesday night round-tripper ain't in the making. I'm hoping my good friend G & W gives me the fair and balanced report on this one even though I'll be watching at HR Pesty's on a big screen it always looks different in person. Won't give a prediction other than I'm thinking I'll be needing something stiffer than Golden Lights to keep mellow during this one.

The best rivalry in Minnesota hockey...no matter what the score, this game is always a fun one. For a quick predicition I'm saying Roseau dominates on home ice in a good 6-1 win for them.
