The Charge for Four Thousand

Post by Irishmans Shanty »

Now that elliot70 has taken a box cutter to the shrink wrap of the thread on the main stage, it is only a matter of time before some milestones are achieved. This board is in for an unprecedented season as numerous posters will eclipse 4000 posts in rapid fire succession.

It may come to light, thanks to the findings of a Bay Area newspaper reporter, that the long standing suspicion of performance ehnancing drugs and posting is no longer suspicion, but reality. The robust post count of boblee has long been tied to the allegations. Such a finding would truly rock the message board culture and drive a wedge between many of its users.

Despite the growing storm clouds, our commissioner, east hockey has indicated he will acknowledge the records as they fall and participate fully in all of the pomp and circumstance.

Many people lost some posts when the board changed...

and like I've said before...When George Blanda's name reaches 1296 posts he'll be sitting at an even 4000. At that time, he will get a life and never post #4001.

Exclusive interview with longtime board member Goldy313

Q: What do you think about the current state of the board?
A: I don't know what to say, it's just a different world now.

Q: How so?
A: Back in the old days you give me a blinking green cursor, a good phone line, a half a pot of black coffee, and a couple of smokes and 25 posts felt like you just tangled with a nuclear reactor trying to melt down. Nowadays, these guys have these orthepedic keyboards, windows, wireless mice, and blackberrys. They don't respect 25 posts the way I do. If most of these guys today went through what we did years ago by shifting, controling, alting and F12elving, they wouldn't have made it.

Q: Do you think performance enhancing drugs are also affecting the numbers?
A: Of course, these guys with all their technology are all hopped up on hopping stuff and hopping around their offices, classrooms, dorm rooms, or homes posting away like they don't have anything else to do.

Q: Are you bitter?
A: What do you think, I've been around here forever, I'm clean, I've done things the right way and my numbers are lost in a sea of lies, disrespect, cheating, and deceit.

I have never knowlingly taken any posting enhancing drugs.

I did not inhale and I did not have sexual relations with that woman.

Now, if you want to talk about some drugs that were down right mind altering ....OK , yah got me. But never while posting and always under a doctors supervision. For confirmation just contact my family physician shown here treating a patient.

You want performance enhancing!!!!

I'm upgrading my ride. I just hope I have charged it enough to get to the lowly 1000 benchmark level considering the greatness I'm amongst

I'm going from this late model unit

I see tomASS got a ride with a third wheel. Smart move after what you did to the shocks of your last ride.

That looks like an elliott 2000z with the optional aluminum can collecting front basket, and the extra comfort seat with discrete added features.

I've got it right here with me.

But if I gotta go...
give me Pappy Heath disease...
He was shot in the back (at age 80) by a jeolous husband of the 45 year old woman who happened to be lying under him at the time.
