USHL/Highschool
So whats the policy for the kids who played in the USHL and now return to there high school? Obviously they can't play for there high school team, but why not?
Re: USHL/Highschool
Sure they can play. There are many players who have done this. They can play before and after the high school season.slapshot89 wrote:So whats the policy for the kids who played in the USHL and now return to there high school? Obviously they can't play for there high school team, but why not?
....as long as they haven't transferred high schools. If player were to leave his school for a ushl team and then decide it wasn't for him, he couldn't transfer back to his old school and be eligible, though his parents could move to another school attendance area and be eligible there
I love loopholes.

Re: USHL/Highschool
There's a time frame involved at the beginning of the high school season. If the player returns at the correct time, he is eligible to play for his high school team, and then may return to his USHL team after the high school season. More and more players are going this route. Youso from I'Falls is one of many. He played in Green Bay this fall, and is now back with the Falls. It's a great option for the upper tiered players.slapshot89 wrote:So whats the policy for the kids who played in the USHL and now return to there high school?
