Ah, you may want to check your Champlin pick. I would say fourth or fifth at the very best and most likely lower than that. this will be a blaine/centennial battle....then everyone else

Tough choice for me. For the top spot, Centennial edges out Blaine in my mind.

Blaine and Centennial will have a good assemblance of talent. The coaching for both teams is very solid. It seems like they have similar philosophies. It's almost like they are related or something.

Rogers should be a good team and should compete very well. Two Elite 1 players will anchor their D.

I think it's hard to pick Blaine because of all the talent they lost, and because I heard Carson isn't playing his senior year there... and who else besides Blaine and Centennial would you have in front of Champlin Park?.... MG? ha thats funny

I don't see how everyone is so high on Centennial. I do not see a huge season out of them.

Well the Elite Northeast team seems do be doing well with 4 Centennial players, and the Elite 2 5a/5aa with about 6 players is not doing bad either.

Not saying these are all impact players, but they are on the teams so that says something.

What about Rogers...they have 2 Elite 1 players and several other strong skaters...if they find a goalie they will be one to contend with...

Rogers needs a goalie. Jensen and Scatterelli(sp?) are very good players. I have never been very high on Centennial. I have been to several Elite 2 Games and many Northwest Elite 1 Games and the only player that really sticks out of the bunch is Pitlick. We will see when the season starts. Should be an interesting section.

I think that they will beat hafe these teams this year, maybe not the blaines and cenntenials but i know they can compete with the north metros and coon rapids. Plus they have some really underrated talent on this team like senor Travis Baker who was leading in point for sometime last year. They also have a exellent sophmore class that make up most of there varsity team this year.
OK well lets see what you think...after all it's only a preseason pick :D

Irondale only played Coon Rapids from this section last year. They lost that game 5-3. They better have some more 5AA teams on their schedule this year, or they will be rudely awakened come section time.

Try find some sort of spell check program too, that was painful to read.

Its a big step from Bantams to high school but when predicting future success you need to go by something...

Centennial

Srs - 2nd in state, lost to Edina
Jrs - 1st in state, beat Edina
Sophs - 2nd in state, lost to E.P.

So tell me hockeyguy99, why are you high on Blaine, Maple Grove, and Champlin Park more so than Centennial? Ouija Board? Magic 8 Ball?

It would be nice to see a MG or a Coon Rapids step up and make it interesting but I think we are destined to see a Centennial/Blaine final. Obviously I will go with the homer pick and take my Bengals to make their 3rd consecutive trip to state but it should be a good one, both teams have a good number of solid players, really comes down to who steps up.
Some would call 4 in a row a dynasty

I think it will be an all Blaine/Centennial final. The bottom will be very competitive for spots but none can compete with Blaine and Centennial. One thing about centennial, I think Hanna might be slightly overrated, he didn't perform like I thought he would in a couple of games last year.

May want to look back at this one!! Good to see the Rebels making a bid for the #2 spot in the section.
