Game 1 - Boof didn't pitch any better, giving up 5 hits and walk in his 5 inning outing. Twins won 4-2 just the same. Kubel and Morneau with 2 rbi's apiece.
Game 2 - Baker vs K. Davies

Re: post 8283
Of all the moves Ryan made this summer trading Castillo may have been the biggest blunder. It certainly hurt the team defensively and created a hole in the lineup, but more importantly it sent a message to the team that Ryan didn't believe they were a playoff team.Indians forever wrote:Maybe Castillo????????boblee wrote:Someone needs to teach Alexi Casilla to play defense.
Sounds like Baker had another good start last night.

Castillo was traded the day after Casilla, while batting lefthanded, did that little shuffle with his feet and tried to slap a ball through the hole between 3rd and short.
I think TR noticed that Luis was having too much of an influence on the young boy, I can't say I disagreed with the trade.
At no point did this season having anything to do with Luis, the season never came together because the guts of the order didn't produce as much and when they did produce it was at the wrong time.
