they're pretty good. don't seem to have any standout player on their team. they just shoot for rebounds and crash the net. and their goalie can move for a big boy. i'm talking really big. i mean this kid has got to way 250lbs.

what qualities does a team need to have/do to beat this team?
they have had 7 losses, what did these teams do to win

Blaine BB1 at State

Post by MedleyWR »

I'd say that there are 6 of the 8 teams in BB1 state that could possibly win. 5 of these 6 teams are within the greater TC metro area. The team that skates the hardest, leaves it all out on the ice, moves the puck well, stays out of the box, and has standout goaltending will win. In other words, most of these teams have the talent. But to win, they must play mistake-free fundamentally strong hockey. Also, a little bit of luck helps.

I think what a team needs to do to beat Blaine is shoot low on the goalie, play great defensive hockey and dont let them get any good angle shots. Jefferson accomplished this with a 1-0 win over Blaine. :D

They won their district, won their region and are off to the state tournament.... i think they're pretty good, even though they sometimes lose a game they should've won..... they overall are a great team.

note: they have the best record in BB1 Hockey

They're good, but not that good. Granted they beat us 6-0 nothing in regions, and yea we didn't show up to play and they did. They crash the net hard, and their goalie is a LARD ASS!!! (sorry  ) But yes they do deserve to go to state, and the best of luck to them!!!

Funny, one of my assessments of the Blaine team is that they don't crash the net enough. They tend to score more on rushes and snipes than rebounds. Don't assume a team doesn't have skill just because they are big and physical. It's nice to have all three.

The "lard" G is more likely 3 bills, and has very good, quick hands. Rag all you want, but his record speaks for itself.

I have played the Blaine B1s twice and they have one of the most physical teams theyre goalie is good but sometimes over rated he is bad on low shot but a good glove my scale of a 1-10. 1 being terrible 10 being the best. it would have to be a 7-8.
