I think Blake was going downhill quick, but then turned it around in a hurry with about 5 minutes left in the third period last night. Going with Blake for the Tri-Metro and #2 seed in 5A.

Shots in the 2nd were something like 15-2 in favor of Blake. 2 soft goals in the first for SPA. This wasn't as close as the score shows.

I'll take DA BEARSSSSSSS.

2-2 with 5 minutes left is pretty close if you ask me.

OK it was 2-0 SPA after 1. Blake scored 5 unanswered (1 was a shorty). ANd as I stated earlier SPA's goals were pretty soft. Is that close? Were you at the game Mikey or just reading a box score?

The spa goalie had a good game and kept them in it, but Blake was the better team.

But, you still can't forget that the Saints tied Blake earlier.

I'm gonna take Breck for this one

I arrived in the second, thought it would be about over, but it must have been parents night or something, when Blake scored their second goal, which looked like it deflected off of a skate, and saw most of the third, left at 4-2. Blake struggled, looked frustrated, and SPA had some good chances, including a breakaway, to take the lead before the wraparound goal, which was also soft if you want to qualify soft goals, and like Pipes said, Blake tied the Saints in their last game, but it looks like they broke out of a funk in the last 5 minutes, and I think they're going to beat Breck (yeah, run-on-sentence grammar freaks). Saw in the paper that Blake yanked their starter after the first, but the backup (their top goalie) made some big stops to keep them in the game, and eventually win it.

My point (for all games, not just this one), I'd rather have 2 soft goals on 2 shots than no goals on 20 shots... hell, if the other team puts one in their own net, I'd take that too! No hard feelings Power, just different philosophy's on what is or is not a close game I guess. If SPA won would you not say that it was a close game? I personally could care less about shots or soft goals... GOALS are the only things that count... and did I say that I think Blake will score more than Breck tomorrow? Regardless, this will be a good game.

No hard feeling Mikey, some people here are uninformed and make game analysis from a box score. Agreed, we saw the game through different eyes.

Wow! Sounds entertaining. I had to miss this one unfortunately. What were the times of the goals for Breck in the third?
