I think it might be a little early for this poll as well. What about Hill-Murray Wayzta on Tuesday. There's a decent matchup, much sooner.

Where's the poll for that?

Too lazy... Besides, I'm willing to bet we'd see a lot of uninformed posts like "Why is this even a thread - HM 20-1".

Little do they know... HM is going to lose that game... you heard it here first.

'Zata laid a real egg against Armstrong, and played poorly against H-M before that. Edina on the other hand... 4 in a row since thier last loss - to Wayzata. hmmm...

Edina - 3
Wayzata - 0

Edina outmanned Minnetonka thursday and seems to be back on track after the Trojan loss a few weeks ago. Revenge game.

This Hornet team is one of the 3 best teams in the state in my opinion. With their speed, they should benefit from playing on the olympic-size sheet.

Wayzata's leading scorer has 17 points. (Alex Fong 5g 12a). Trojan goalkeeper Joe Howe will have to stand on his head once again. Zata plays better against good teams for some reason, then loses to Armstrong. 17 points? ouch!

They should be an easy win and a confidence builder for going into sections.

HORNETS, HORNETS (clap, clap, clapclapclap)

Edina wins in a burner, 4-2.

Wayzata's lacks enough speed

Edina should get tuned up for the section with this game
It appears that many of Wayzata's loses actually came on big ice.
I just don't see them staying with the Hornets on Saturday unless Giles decides to rest a few boys, but I don't think that is his style.

The Hornets still need the game to win the conference title outright.

Lets hope we play well, but when we play bad we play really bad. I keep thinking back to that Hopkins game where we were lucky to get out of there with a win

In this big game, I am thinking...

Edina - 5
Wayzata - 3

If you wanna crown 'em, go ahead and crown 'em!

really? I think we're too fast of a team to loose - especially on an olympic ice sheet

Wayzata hasn't scored six goals in their last 3 games. They haven't scored more than 4 in any one game this entire season. They won't be scoring 6 against Edina... count on it.

Any idea why Howe wasn't in the nets against Armstrong?
