They can't let up now though. Remember Elk River.
You remember. I prefer to forget that game. Image

Duluth East 3
Grand Rapids 1

End of 2nd

Shots after 2:
Duluth East 30
Grand Rapids 21

Power plays after 2:
Duluth East 0/3
Grand Rapids 0/4

Rapids defense is making me want to puke. About 8 odd man rushes for East in the second including 3 breakaways.

Just tuned it in in time to hear East go up 3-1. Keep it going, boys.

I see East is still in their "funk".

Have faith in Randolph, he'll get them back on track.
The only soft spot I see is the one between my legs

No scoring, but that was an impressive power play by East. I don't think Rapids cleared it once. Now it's Rapids' turn...

Grand Rapids will go on their 5th PP. Max Tardy will sit down for interference.

Nothing coming easy for East. They need to bury one more. Typical East game in that the shots are not reflective of the score.

Heard from some people at the game that this is as close to a sell out as it gets.

I just came home from the game after the 2nd, it's pretty packed but there were still some seats, alot of people standing though. My kid played between the 1st and 2nd, Mites.

Tony Palkki takes yet another penalty for Rapids. Called a rough. Sounded like a bad decision.

Thank you Arbour! That's what East needed, plus they get another power play to milk away the clock a bit more.

Rapids is doing the stupid penalty thing now. Arbour makes it 4-2. East on the PP again, looking to bag the game.

East kills it off. It's so hard to listen to Rapids tonight. Can't bury anything, can't play D, can't play with discipline.
