Wally can stay on WCCO radio doing Gopher games, since I am either watching the game on TV or am at the game... Not having to hear Wally wouldn't bother me at all...

Back to Louie, for me, I am in my late 40's, Louie talks about the games I watched as a kid, with the Rapids/Hornets/Roseau/Jefferson matchups... and I like that...

The young kids probably don't like that, but then they probably don't appreciate the history of the game either... and that Bugs me...

Gotta keep Lou!!! He's an icon. When I think of the State Tournament, one of the 1st things that enter my mind is Sweet Lou doing the analysis on tv. And I disagree with the OP...I don't think he shows any overt bias towards Edina. I think he does a pretty good job of calling 'em like he sees 'em.

I think the outstate teams can give Lou something to talk about. This will only be the sixth time in 20 years that a section 7 or section 8 team has not been in the championship game
