4:30 remaining. Still 2-1 East.

Cloquet still has no shots on goal. Johnson hit the pipe about a minute ago for East.

Very insane game...I have no voice. The 3rd period was one of the most intense ever in the past few years, which is saying something.

I said before the game that Jokinen was the key, and East held him in check nicely. Arbour and Nelson in particular went at him quite a bit, and he got up very slowly after one (penalized) hit from Arbour. I was still very impressed with Jokinen, who spent practically the entire 3rd period on the ice.

I can't wait for a semifinal rematch, which looks pretty likely at this point.

Karl, Cloquet will have a very tough quarterfinal round, I don't think we will even see them in the semi's, which will make me quite happy!

It's a tough call there for me...I want to see Cloquet lose, of course, but one last East-Cloquet game before I graduate would be wonderful.

east cheap shotted the hell out of jokinen the whole game. i hate the kid, but i still love cloquet and thought that was pretty ridiculous. coach esse must've agreed by the way he was screaming at the refs at the end of the game. i sure hope they get to play each other again
