Yah great ChrisK. Why dont you call in tommorrow morning to KFAN and tell Mike all about it.

I am sure the Vikings bobos on that station will be happy tp agree with you and spew out what a great coach Childress is.

Say, did you know that he runs the West Coast offense?

It looked more like da Nordeast offense last night. Johnson did a pretty good Dante imitation.

Funny. I always whine about how the FAN goes on and on about nothing every AM so long as it has Vikings in front of it. This AM they were talking more about Halloween than the game. Wonder why?

PS Neut you are really doing the emoticon thing lately. Very nice. Slappy would be proud.

I'm just saying the Pats players did some of the same kind of post-play garbage that the Vikes did so don't let them off the hook for that. I'm sure Mike would agree with me.

I will say I do like the team-oriented approach the Patriots have and part of the credit should rest with the way Brady carries himself. When the star player on the team acts like just one of the guys and works as hard as he does it has to rub off on the rest of the team. I will run naked through the streets of St.Paul if we ever see the day when an uninjured Brady leaves a game before it's over a la Moss a few years ago.

Johnson has been mediocre to awful but some of the blame for the sputtering offense has to rest on the shoulders of the offensive line. For what they're getting paid they should be dominant and they haven't been close. This week the Vikes get to face a defense that is not very good so they should click. If they can string together some good games against the soft schedule they'll have the next few weeks maybe they can get some momentum and play better against the tough defenses they'll face. If they continue to misfire this weekend though, Childress will have to make some changes.

Sounds like they got a little beat up too. All that dancin after making routine plays will do it to you.

If thats how they play vs a quality team at home on MNF, do you really care how they do vs SF?

Old Mike was really demphasizing the loss this AM. He was oh so sure that the Vikings would learn from it and move on. What a shill.

Geez, I hope we dont lose Mike Tomlin after this year. Everyone will want him after Monday.

They'll see a lot of 4-5 reciever sets until they figure out a way to stop it.

Lets see what he comes up with before we get too harsh.

I think we are just straight north now. So cold that it has frozen TWill's hands and our offense is just an ice cube.

This has to be the worst offfense I have ever seen , personel wise, from a Viking team and Ive seen them all.

When they were an expansion team , they were better with Tommy Mason, Hugh McHeleney, Fran , and Paul Flately.

Pahtetic.

Childress has a long way to go boys. I think he will be fine but its going to take a while. He has been badly out coached as of late.

It seems like everybody knows what he is going to do.

The NFL has done it. They have created the sports utopia. Their utopia consists of games that can not be predicted with any degree of accuracy. The league has actively been moving in this direction for some time but they have now perfected it. Week to week you have no idea who is going to perform or who is not going to show up at all.

Yup, it's sure looking like the West Crawl offense right now. From missed blocks to bad throws to dropped passes, everyone, with the exception of Chester Taylor, is responsible for the offense's pathetic showing to date. Even the coaching staff with its inability to adjust on the fly has to share the blame. It's hard to say where you'd start, but something needs to change.

When the Twins were in a similar situation this year, Terry Ryan made some drastic moves that ended up paying off. It will be interesting to see how Childress handles this. One issue he has to consider is the QB situation, Johnson seems to have gotten worse as the season's gone on, do they want to chuck this season in the hamper and give the kid a shot with the hope that the experience will pay off in a year or two.

Not til we are eliminated. I think we stick with Brado and hope that our WRs can buy some hands on Ebay or something.

Catch the boofin ball. Final drive, 3 and 7, dropped pass fails to move chains. If they convert there, I believe they win. Some weeks, it's not about winning, it's about not loosing. Another minute of pressure on SF and they would have sprung a leak.

It shouldn't have come down to needing another minute. We should have been able to beat SF without it being close if we are a playoff team.

We also had a TD called back on a questionable call. That seems to be a problem with the Vikings most of the time. They don't get beat by other teams as much as they beat themselves.

I think we stick with Johnson. He has got the experience ,smarts and the guts and and guile just like Radke.

Its been a team effort. Not much was made about the stupid and uneccessary push from behind block on Taylors catch and run. Every time these guys get into a battle with another team their first instinct is to take a penalty.

QB and WRs have played bad. Real bad.

Clean house.

they scored 3 pts against the 49ers...they need more than some hands to improve. When will Tavarias be healthy? Give him a shot.

There are 60 minutes in a game and they all count. In the perfect world you execute for 59 minutes and render the last minute obsolete. But, that is not what this league is about anymore. Just win. If you are woeful the whole day but in the 59th minutel have an opportunity, you have to cash in. SF won with only 8 first downs, Pittsburgh lost with 30. Oak won a game last week with 17 passing yards.

One week is no indication of anything to come. Rex Grossman has gone from League MVP to possibly being replaced by Brian Griese.

Things are never as good as they seem and they're never as bad as they seem. In the end, an NFL team needs 8-10 wins and a somewhat healthy roster.

I still say 'get a broom and clean house'.

Keep a handful of guys and get rid of the rest.

Childress is stuck with Tice and Green players. They are still knotheads no matter who their coach is.

A leopard doesnt change its spots because a new system is put in.

Get rid of these guys and run dat Nordeast offense with some good Polacks and a Slav or 2.

These guys will never win anything.

The defense has a lot of talent and a lot of youth as well. They're pretty set as far as personnel goes. I'd say the only place that needs an overhaul is QB and WR. Get some playmakers at those positions, and this team could go some places.

I would agree with you BB but on Sunday, they couldnt sack the QB, cover a WR, nor make a tackle when it counted.

One of the 49er field goals was set up after the Vikings(2 guys) missed a tackle on 3rd and 3 that would have forced a punt.

Stupid penalties, missed tackles , costly turnovers. Nothing has changed except the coach.

Get a broom.

Hoover.

Takes care of two problems:

1) Sucks up and gets rid of all the people that packerboy sweeps out
2) Is something that sucks more than the Vikings right now
