I have not been impressed with the way I have seen him interact with the younger players. He seems like he's in it for himself.

I have been on these boards as much or more than any of you. Let me fill in your obvious small minds on Mr, Clafton, his back ground, and his intentions.

Begining after High school
Two years Omaha Lancer under current Gopher coach Mike Hastings
3rd highest scoring Defenseman in USHl in year one
Signed to St Cloud State Following his 1st year of Juniors at Omaha 3 years und Bob Motzko
4 years at St Cloud State 2 wcha final 5's
1 NCAA playoff game
Signed by the Utah Grizzlys following the NCAA playoff game
Following year played for the Corpus Christy Rayz
Season ended in a check from behind where he broke his neck and back in 4 places .
Wanting to do something with hockey, but Rapids not having room because of the great coaches was offered to assist in Hibbing. Drives over daily to help on his own dollar. I dont think he is in it for himeslf ,
3343 I know you and who you are and I know why you feel the way you do. And in case you didnt know he has been in Hibbing helping at one level or another since the begining of the season . I can take criticism if its valid but just because your little boy got his feeling hurt your attacks are unfounded and yes without "Merritt"

Unfounded or not, my "little" boy will be just fine. I'm not the only one with an opinion on your son and his arrogance. He's creating his own legacy and at 25, not sure he needs daddy to defend him. He's more than welcome to clear the air man to man with an adult rather than intimidating or harassing a high school student. No way he can clean that confrontation up and make any part of it even a little bit right. Like I said, was just an opinion, not pure fact. Based on my experiences with him, arrogance describes him gently.
