To me PR has exposed themselves as being less of a team than I had originally thought.
And yes, I know more about other teams than most caoches do, because my job is not to focus on one team as they have to do.

I hope PR does well.
I will cheer as hard for them as anyone else if they make it to the X.
I think PR will lose to EGF in the semis by 3 goals.
Warroad over Bemidji by the same score in the semis.
You say PR exposed themselves as being less of a team than you had thought. But you picked against them in every big game they had, let alone games they should win easily, so obviously you never thought much of them to begin with.
As I was saying...
Yes, I did not feel they would go undefeated so I was trying to get the loss pick. Has no bearing on how I felt about their team.

The loss to Kittson Central I felt was just going to happen sooner or later as it is hard to maintain momentum.
But the Prairie Center loss I thought was a sign of a weakness. It was a gmae they should not have lost for two reasons, they should be the better team and the timing was terrible - night before seeding and the week before play-offs begin. Thus, I feel they are less than I thought they were. I thought they would be 50-50 with EGF in the semis. Now, I don't think so.

So what is your take on the loss? Just another game? Are they as strong as you had thought? Do you have doubts?

Those expressing concern for my family/friend; thank you.

My mother came through fine physically, as of now. Mentally she has suffered a set-back. But she is closing in on triple digits, none of us have forever; and she is prepared for what is next.

My friend is in excellent spirits and sees the 'real' experts next week, but things are positive, as positive as dealing with cancer can be.

So again, thank you.

They outshot Prairie Center 48-15. I really don't think you can ask much more than that besides finishing on your opportunities. Kittson always gives PR games, so to me that wasn't surprising. They are stumbling into the playoffs, though, and that is never good. That said, anything can happen. Good luck to you, your friends and family, Elliott...

And to everybody else on the "bored"(even BS and UHL), good luck to your teams in the fight to travel to St. Paul.

Every year someone says that crookston is the "Dark horse" or crookston is a tough team in the play-offs. Yet when is the last time they made it to the finals. Actually, when was the last time they made it to the semi-finals? I'm just wondering.

They're no "dark horse". This is easy money. Vegas has stopped taking action on them because it's such a lock!

Schwangy, you seem to be trying to get rid of the trailer house.
You should try it. It's really nice inside.

Any way, you're on!!!!

I put up my "New" Pick up truck.

It's a beauty...

Couldn't have made it through the winter without it.

They are a TEAM!

Post by thecoachsdaughter »

Well I just want to say that I am very proud of Park Rapids. This season has been great. And YES they are a TEAM. Do you think that Zach has done it all on his own. What about all the other players that have made goals and assists? What about the goalie shut outs? Give props to those who have made it possible for him. Zach is indeed an excelent player. But all in all they have made it this far as a TEAM, and they will go all the way as a TEAM too!
